Translating the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) ‘protect the data privacy rights of individuals’
Although GDPR is due to be implemented on 25th May 2018 a number of our clients are well ahead in getting their procedures translated for their overseas offices. (https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/guide-to-the-general-data-protection-regulation-gdpr)
Translating documents into numerous languages can be challenging, not only working with a large team of translators and revisers, but also working with different cultures and various time zones. The translated text has to be consistent to the source and localised to the target market in each language and quality procedures need to be followed. All this is done within the required delivery time schedule. This is what the TW Languages TPM team does on a daily basis, these skills and experience are essential when translating the GDPR legislation.
For information TW Languages has signed up to GDPR and will be complying with all the relevant regulations. We will ensure the same statutory compliance obligations will be imposed on all of our translators, revisers, interpreters, desk top publishers etc.
If you require translation of your GDPR documentation do not hesitate to contact us.
